London Legal Walk 2026

Marists

On Tuesday, 9th June 2026, a dedicated team from the Notre Dame Refugee Centre (NDRC) completed the 10km London Legal Walk, walking alongside the Lady Chief Justice and thousands of legal professionals, in order to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust. Their efforts support access to legal advice for those in need, following last year’s event, which raised over £1,000,000 and helped thousands access justice. This year, the NDRC team was joined by Father Pascal Boidin, Father Clovis Gwencho and Sister Aqela Vere from Notre Dame de France (NDF), the Marist-run church that originally established the Notre Dame Refugee Centre in 1996.

NDRC, now an independent charity based in Leicester Square, has spent 30 years providing expert advice on immigration, welfare, and housing to refugees and asylum seekers from over 90 countries. The participation of the Marist team from NDF in the walk underscores the Marists’ enduring commitment to supporting vulnerable communities. Every pound raised by NDRC goes directly to the centre, ensuring that justice and support remain accessible to all.

There's still time to contribute to the NDRC fundraiser! Any donation helps - check out this link to support.
