Norway

The Marist presence in Norway dates back to 1925 when Fr. Jacob Mangers sm, who later became the bishop of Oslo, arrived to help the little church in the Catholic Northern diaspora. Since 2001, the community is based in Maristua, Strømmen on the outskirts of Oslo. The members engage in retreat work, youth and parish pastoral ministry in the area.
