The parish church is located in Coolock village, a suburb of Dublin served by good transport links. Daily mass is celebrated in the church. The worshipping community is relatively small with about one thousand families, but is also frequented by people who live in the wider area. The vitality of the community can be seen in the great variety of groups within the parish – Pastoral Council, Finance Committee, Baptismal team, Funeral Team, Lay Led Liturgy group, Eucharistic Ministers, Ministers of the Word, musicians and singers, St Vincent de Paul Society, Care for the planet group, not to mention all the groups using the Parish Centre.
