Double Jubilee Celebrations in Norway

Marists

The parish of St. Hallvard (Oslo, Norway) recently gathered for a joyful double jubilee, marking significant milestones for two Marist priests in Norway.

Because his Silver Jubilee of Ordination in Oslo was unfortunately canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions, Father Andreas Rupprecht celebrated his 30th anniversary of priesthood on the Solemnity of the Ascension this year. Joining the celebration was Father Rory Mulligan, who marked his Diamond Jubilee (60 years of priestly ministry), a milestone he officially reached this past March.

Following Mass, parishioners and representatives from the parish youth association gathered for a festive reception to express their gratitude and offer prayers for the jubilarians.
