Marists

Under the guidance of Fr Jean-Marie Bloqueau, with the special help of Fr Ron Nissen and many others, a coordination group is preparing a variety of resources and events to mark the 150th anniversary of the death of Fr Colin on 15 November 2025.

A Novena will be prepared by the Marist Theologate in Rome and will be
published in several languages. The Novena will take place from 7 to 15
November. Preparations have started to collect several testimonies from Marists worldwide.

From 11 to 15 November a Pilgrimage will be offered under the theme “That suits me”: St Bonnet-le Troncy / Fourvière / Cerdon / Belley / La Neylière. On 12 November and 15 November a special program will take place in La Neylière for those who are not participating in the complete pilgrimage.

The Composition of a Mass dedicated to Fr Colin. This may include a contest of hymns, in several languages: Marists got Talent?! The presentation of a publication with Colin's most relevant words for today.
