Five Marists Make Final Vows in Rome

Marists

On 3 October 2026, five Marists from different parts of the world made their Perpetual Profession of Vows in the Society of Mary, committing themselves to a lifetime of faith, service, and Mary's mission.

We joyfully celebrate this special milestone with:

🇫🇯 Manuele Botabua (Fiji)

🇲🇽 Eduardo Limón Guttiérez (Mexico)

🇸🇧 Hansford Mane (Solomon Islands)

🇳🇿 Joseph Mijares (New Zealand)

🇲🇽 David Romero Vences (Mexico)

The celebration was held at Casa di Maria in Rome, presided over by Fr Pat Breeze, with Fr Aisake Vaisima receiving the vows on behalf of the Superior General. Fr David Sánchez, their former Novice Master, delivered the homily.

Joined by members of the Marist Family, friends, and fellow religious, the occasion was a joyful celebration of faith, fraternity, and commitment.

As these five Marists begin this new chapter of their vocation, we keep them in our prayers. May Mary continue to guide and inspire them in their lifelong mission.
