As European Delegate for Education within the Marist schools network from 2018 to 2026, Fr Frank Dowling reflects on his mission devoted to educational excellence and spiritual formation. His reflection explores some of the defining moments that have shaped both personal leadership and the collective mission of these institutions.

On 3 October 2026, five Marists from different parts of the world made their Perpetual Profession of Vows in the Society of Mary, committing themselves to a lifetime of faith, service, and Mary’s mission.

In early October 2026, members of the General Administration and Major Superiors gathered at the General House in Rome for the annual ARC meeting.
Together, they reflected on Marist life and mission across the Society, the implementation of the General Chapter’s decisions, vocations, formation, education, restructuring, and other areas of our shared mission.
