Since 2017, we have been living together with active and retired diocesan priests in the Residence for Priests of the Diocese of León. The community comprises of retired Marists, and some are still providing pastoral services in the diocese, including work with the migrant communities.

We have been in Madrid since 1924. The civil war of 1936 put an end to the school that had just begun. Our mission is to offer hospitality to Marists and house the administrative offices in Spain. We are engaged in various other ministries according to our age and charism.

In 2018 we embarked on a new ministry in the European Province: the Christian welcome of pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. Sahagún was chosen as the location, where we rented the former guest house of a Benedictine monastery, which dates back to the XVI century. We are an international Marist community and form part of the Omnes Gentes communities in the Society of Mary. We invite religious and lay people to come and share in our mission for a period of time as volunteers.
