De oppmuntrer oss til \u00e5 vende tilbake til dem.  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Almisser, b\u00f8nn, faste,<\/strong> alt det gode vi gj\u00f8r, blir besudlet n\u00e5r vi pr\u00f8ver \u00e5 vise oss frem, \"<em>som hyklerne<\/em>\" (Matt 6,1-18, askeonsdag). Det er i hjertets hemmelighet at Faderen ser hva som er godt. Colin uttrykker det slik: \u00e5 nekte \u00e5 vise seg frem, \u00e5 v\u00e6re \"prangende\", \u00e5 leve som Maria i ydmykhet (Konst. 7)&#8230;  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Jesu fristelser<\/strong> fremkaller alle former for ondskap: \u00e5 tilegne seg ressurser, \u00e5 bruke Gud i stedet for \u00e5 tjene ham, \u00e5 ville dominere universet. Evangeliets beretning (Matt 4,1-11) er sv\u00e6rt omfattende, men Colins tre \"nei\" leser den mer med tanke p\u00e5 dens personlige implikasjoner: <strong><em>\u00e5 avvise \"\u00e6rgjerrighetens, begj\u00e6rets og maktbegj\u00e6rets \u00e5nd\" (Const. 92)<\/em><\/strong>r\" (Const. 92), og Marias \u00e5nd st\u00e5r i radikal motsetning til denne verdens\u00e5nden. <br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Forklarelsen<\/strong> if\u00f8lge Matteus (17,1-9) er som en oppsummering av den bibelske \u00e5penbaringen, med Jesu liv, d\u00f8d og oppstandelse i sentrum. Den f\u00f8rer tilbake til det vanlige livet: Disiplene \"<em>s\u00e5 ingen andre enn Jesus alene<\/em>\". Visjonen er i \u00f8yeblikket; livsstr\u00f8mmen vender tilbake til det hverdagslige. Apostlene opplevde dette, og det samme gjorde de troende som fulgte dem. Kontemplasjon er n\u00f8dvendig, men den m\u00e5 gi n\u00e6ring til ydmyk daglig handling. Colin inviterer oss til \u00e5 holde grunnleggelsesscenene n\u00e6rv\u00e6rende, Maria i Nasaret, Maria p\u00e5 pinsefestens dag (Konst. 8).
