De har hjulpet meg til \u00e5 bli klar over det enorme privilegiet og ansvaret som f\u00f8lger med \u00e5 feire eukaristien. Mange ganger har jeg blitt dypt beveget av \u00f8yeblikkets n\u00e5de, av menneskene som er til stede, av barna som roper eller babyene som gr\u00e5ter, for alt er Kristi n\u00e6rv\u00e6r - disse mennene og kvinnene, kirken, \u00e5krene, fjellene, regnet som faller, hvert hjerte, hver t\u00e5re, hver glede og hver sorg - alt sammen utgj\u00f8r Kristi legeme. 42 \u00e5r med feiring av nattverden - uforglemmelige, vidunderlige, tragiske \u00f8yeblikk! \u00d8yeblikk da jeg var glad for \u00e5 v\u00e6re prest, og \u00f8yeblikk da jeg \u00f8nsket \u00e5 gj\u00f8re mer for de syke, for de funksjonshemmede barna, for de foreldrel\u00f8se barna eller for enken; \u00f8yeblikk da jeg ikke forsto at Gud ba meg om DETTE og ikke noe annet. \u00d8yeblikk da jeg f\u00f8lte at jeg var den heldigste av alle mennesker, velsignet tusen ganger av venner, familie og til og med av fremmede. Vidunderlige \u00f8yeblikk der jeg pr\u00f8vde \u00e5 bringe Kristus n\u00e6rmere andre.      <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Jeg \u00f8nsker \u00e5 dele disse messene med dere, de \u00f8yeblikkene da Kristus virkelig gjorde seg selv n\u00e6rv\u00e6rende blant oss. Jeg deler dem med et takknemlig og ydmykt hjerte.
