We zijn een communiteit voor gepensioneerde Maristen, van wie sommigen betrokken zijn bij pastoraat en aalmoezenierswerk in de Maristenschool, St Mary's College. Bij het schoolcomplex hoort ook de St Mary's kerk, die open is voor het publiek en bekend staat om zijn prachtige stenen architectuur, waaronder goed uitgevoerde granieten muren en glas-in-loodramen. <\/p>\n\n

St Teresa's parochie is toevertrouwd aan de Maristencommuniteit en ligt in een uitdagende wijk van de stad. We zijn een open en inclusieve parochie die alle mensen welkom heet in onze kerk. We zoeken naar nieuwe mogelijkheden om iedereen respectvol aan te moedigen actief deel te nemen aan het parochieleven. St Teresa's wil een levende kerk zijn die getuigt van ons spirituele erfgoed door gebed en aanbidding centraal te stellen en door zich in te zetten voor sociale rechtvaardigheid. <\/p>\n\n

St. Brendans Parochie<\/h2> <\/div>

De parochie is toevertrouwd aan de Maristencommuniteit. De gemeenschap is relatief klein met ongeveer duizend gezinnen. Onze missie luidt: \"St Brendan's is een zorgzame katholieke parochie, ge\u00efnspireerd door het evangelie, die viert en samenwerkt om een gemeenschap van rechtvaardigheid, liefde en vrede op te bouwen\".<\/em> De vitaliteit van de gemeenschap is te zien in de grote verscheidenheid aan groepen binnen de parochie - Pastorale Raad, Financi\u00eble Commissie, Doopteam, Begrafenisteam, Lekengeleide Liturgiegroep, Eucharistische Voorgangers, Voorgangers van het Woord, muzikanten en zangers, Vincentiusvereniging, Zorg voor de planeet-groep, en niet te vergeten alle groepen die gebruik maken van het Parochiecentrum. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>

Ons doel is om als Maristen aanwezig te zijn in de plaatselijke kerk. Dit doen we door de sacramenten te vieren in de plaatselijke kerk St Brendan's; pastoraal werk te verrichten op onze middelbare Maristenschool, Chanel College; en pastoraal werk te verrichten in twee plaatselijke kloosters. Er wonen acht leden in de communiteit met twee medebroeders in plaatselijke verpleeghuizen. Liefdevolle dienstbaarheid aan elkaar in gemeenschap is een van de belangrijkste apostolaatstaken. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>
