Ter voorbereiding op het Heilig Jaar 1950 ondernamen de Maristen twee grote bouwprojecten in de buitenwijken van Rome, de school van Sint-Jan de Evangelist en de parochiekerk gewijd aan Sint-Franciscus Cabrini. De school werd in 2017 gesloten en de Marymount Foundation leidt er nog steeds een onderwijsproject. Tegenwoordig is op de derde en vierde verdieping van hetzelfde gebouw het internationale vormingshuis van de Maristen gevestigd, Casa di Maria.
