Nous sommes une communaut\u00e9 de Maristes retrait\u00e9s, dont certains sont impliqu\u00e9s dans le minist\u00e8re pastoral et l'aum\u00f4nerie de l'\u00e9cole mariste, St Mary's College. Le complexe scolaire comprend l'\u00e9glise St Mary's, ouverte au public et connue pour sa belle architecture en pierre, y compris les murs en granit et les vitraux bien ex\u00e9cut\u00e9s. <\/p>\n\n

La paroisse St Teresa, confi\u00e9e \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 mariste, est situ\u00e9e dans un quartier difficile de la ville. Nous sommes une paroisse ouverte et inclusive qui accueille tout le monde dans notre \u00e9glise. Nous nous engageons \u00e0 explorer de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s pour encourager respectueusement chacun \u00e0 prendre une part active \u00e0 la vie paroissiale. St Teresa's aspire \u00e0 \u00eatre une \u00e9glise vivante qui t\u00e9moigne de son h\u00e9ritage spirituel en accordant une place centrale \u00e0 la pri\u00e8re et au culte et en s'engageant en faveur de la justice sociale. <\/p>\n\n

Paroisse de St. Brendan<\/h2> <\/div>

La paroisse est confi\u00e9e \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 mariste. La communaut\u00e9 est relativement petite, avec environ mille familles. Notre \u00e9nonc\u00e9 de mission est le suivant : \"St Brendan est une paroisse catholique bienveillante inspir\u00e9e par l'\u00c9vangile, c\u00e9l\u00e9brant et travaillant ensemble pour construire une communaut\u00e9 de justice, d'amour et de paix\".<\/em> La vitalit\u00e9 de la communaut\u00e9 se manifeste par la grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de groupes au sein de la paroisse : conseil pastoral, comit\u00e9 des finances, \u00e9quipe des bapt\u00eames, \u00e9quipe des fun\u00e9railles, groupe liturgique dirig\u00e9 par des la\u00efcs, ministres eucharistiques, ministres de la parole, musiciens et chanteurs, soci\u00e9t\u00e9 St Vincent de Paul, groupe de soins pour la plan\u00e8te, sans parler de tous les groupes qui utilisent le centre paroissial. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>

Notre minist\u00e8re est d'\u00eatre une pr\u00e9sence mariste dans l'\u00e9glise locale. Nous le faisons en c\u00e9l\u00e9brant les sacrements dans l'\u00e9glise locale de St Brendan, en fournissant un service d'aum\u00f4nerie \u00e0 notre \u00e9cole secondaire mariste, Chanel College, et en assurant l'aum\u00f4nerie de deux couvents locaux. Huit membres vivent dans la communaut\u00e9 et deux confr\u00e8res se trouvent dans des maisons de retraite locales. Le minist\u00e8re du service affectueux des uns et des autres au sein de la communaut\u00e9 est un apostolat primordial. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>
